Why did I become a Realtor?
Life takes us down many winding roads and my journey to become a Realtor is no different. I moved to Central Florida in 1984 to attend UCF and pursue a degree in biology. Shortly thereafter, I started my career in banking and realized that my passion lies in helping people to achieve their dreams. At that time banking was all about the relationship and I was able to truly help people. Over my career of more than 27 years, I realized that the banking industry was changing and so was I. I started to look for a different avenue that would enable me to pursue my calling to help people. I was lead to Real Estate and I realized my passion for helping people once again.
How long have I been selling Real Estate?
You could say that I have helped in the Real Estate sales process throughout my 27+ year career in banking. I just helped from the other side of the table. Much of what I did as a client relationship manager, portfolio manager and branch manager was related to financing Real Estate transactions with mortgage partners, home equity loans and commercial Real Estate Loans. I transitioned into Residential Real Estate and became a licensed Realtor in 2013.
I have lived in Saint Cloud since 2019 and since 1985 I have lived and worked all over Orange, Seminole and Osceola Counties. As part of the Central Florida community, I have been given the opportunity to learn what the area has to offer, study the neighborhoods and markets thoroughly.
What is my favorite Restaurant?
My favorite restaurant is actually my home. I love to cook and there is no better ambiance than the one created when I am surrounded by my family and friends. We enjoy all natural meats and vegetables paired with wonderful robust wines from our collection.
Something people are surprised to learn about me?
While it is not so surprising that my family is hugely important to me, it might surprise people to know that after raising 6 children, I am still passionate about advocating for children and children's needs. After adopting my youngest three children, I became passionate about children with special needs and now that they are almost grown, I participate and volunteer with Autism Society of Greater Orlando and Special Olympics.
